Software Developer

Description:

We are currently looking for an Open Source Software Developer to work remotely for my Cambridge based client.

You will be joining a company working on innovative, open source solutions for the commercial market, alongside some of the best in the industry.

You Will Be
 

• Engaging with clients at conferences to promote leadership in the Open Source area.
• Analysing client issues and offering technical solutions
• Gaining an understanding of client needs and reconciling this with time constaints, available technologies and resources.
   

Desired Skills
 

• Extensive experience in C++, Python, Java or C#
• A degree in Engineering (or similar)
• Experience with direct development on one (or more) of WebKit, Blink, GStreamer, FFMPEG, libav, X11, wayland/weston, Jenkins, OBS, lava, Linux kernel/device drivers, distribution integration, porting
