Noir Consulting is recruiting on behalf of one of Europe’s fastest-growing and most innovative technology companies, established in the 1990s and now recognized for delivering revolutionary software solutions across multiple markets. The organization is embarking on a large-scale rebuild of its platform, leveraging the latest technologies, including React Server Components, and requires an experienced NextJs Developer to play a key role in this transformation.

As a NextJs Developer, you will be tasked with delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code that underpins the core functionality of the new platform. You will be part of a highly skilled team, contributing to the design, development, and testing of new features while ensuring best practices in performance, security, and user experience.

This role requires an individual with strong expertise in modern web development frameworks, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for working with cutting-edge technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and other engineers, to build innovative solutions that enhance the platform’s capabilities and deliver value to users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the complete rebuild of the client’s platform using NextJs and React Server Components.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using NextJs, React, and TypeScript.

• Implement API integrations using Rest and GraphQL.

• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to design and optimize data storage solutions.

• Apply modern styling practices with SCSS and CSS, ensuring responsive, accessible UI designs.

• Write clean, testable code supported by TDD, Unit Testing, and best practices in software quality.

• Utilize Docker and Git for containerization and version control.

• Collaborate in Agile teams, engaging in code reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning.

• Stay ahead of new technological developments and integrate them where appropriate (AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Webpack, NodeJs, PostgreSQL, Contract Testing, Next Auth/AuthJs, d3, etc.).

About You:

• Proven track record as a NextJs Developer or React/TypeScript Developer in high-performing teams.

• Advanced proficiency in NextJs, React (including React Hooks), and TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of Rest APIs, GraphQL, SQL, and NoSQL.

• Skilled in modern styling (SCSS, CSS) with an eye for clean and functional UI.

• Experience in TDD, Unit Testing, and delivering quality-driven software solutions.

• Proficient with Docker and Git for modern development workflows.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Passion for technology and eagerness to work on cutting-edge projects.

• Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Webpack, NodeJs, PostgreSQL, Jira, Contract Testing, Next Auth/AuthJs, and d3 is highly desirable.

Contract Details:

• Duration: Initial 6 months (potential to extend).

• Location: London, hybrid working arrangement.

• Rate: £400 – £450 per day, outside IR35.
