How does ivee work?
- Sisters Amelia and Lydia were inspired to build ivee after watching one of their parents struggle to return to work. They set out on a mission to address the unjust penalties faced by parents for taking career breaks - penalties that often halt their professional journeys altogether.
- Through ivee, you can gain access to a like-minded community of returners and connect with those on a similar journey through webinars and events (coffee mornings, wine tastings and more!). Plus, you’ll find guides, templates and resources to help you on your return-to-work journey.
- And of course, you’ll have access to our jobs marketplace, designed specifically for returners! We ensure every role on ivee can genuinely offer flexible working arrangements and foster a positive, inclusive culture.
The roles:
At ivee, you’ll be introduced to a mix of roles, including (but not limited to!):
- Junior Software Developer: Assist with software development tasks, including writing and testing code, debugging, and supporting senior engineers with technical documentation and project execution.
- Software Developer: Manage end-to-end development of software features and systems, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring scalable and maintainable code to support product goals.
- Engineering Manager: Develop and implement engineering strategies, lead a team of software engineers, and oversee technical execution to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.
- Senior Engineering Manager:Drive long-term technical planning, lead multiple engineering teams or functions, mentor engineering leaders, and align software development with organisational strategy and growth.
