Software Engineering Manager

Harnham is currently seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to join an AI-driven organization renowned for its innovative platform that enhances revenue management, forecasting, and business intelligence. As the Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the evolution and maintenance of infrastructure supporting machine learning workflows. The role demands close collaboration with Data Scientists, Engineers, and various stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration of technical objectives with business goals. You will also engage in writing and reviewing Python code and provide mentorship and guidance to a small engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the infrastructure for Machine Learning workflows

• Partner closely with Data Scientists, Engineers, and stakeholders

• Write and review high-quality Python code

• Oversee and support a compact, agile software engineering team

• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines

• Leverage cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Utilize Kubernetes to manage container orchestration

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Python development

• Deep familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Solid background in CI/CD practices

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes

• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders

• Prior management experience in leading technical teams

Benefits:
The role offers a competitive base salary of up to £100000 per year, equivalent to approximately £8333 per month, depending on experience. Additional benefits are also included, making this a compelling opportunity for the right candidate.
