Specialist Educator

Milestones is a premium education company delivering highly personalised, engaging, and transformative learning experiences to students aged 5–18 across the UK and globally. Our approach blends deep personalisation, joy-driven mastery, wellbeing, and real-world learning, setting a new standard in education.

We are looking for exceptional educators to deliver interactive, mastery-based learning sessions in various formats, including homeschooling, flexischooling, GCSE intensives, and online Masterclasses. This is a freelance position with long-term opportunities for committed educators.

Core Requirements:

✅ Essential:

• Subject expertise in at least one area (Primary, GCSE, A-Level or equivalent).

• Experience working with children and/or young people (ages 5–18).

• Ability to plan and deliver high-quality, interactive lessons.

• Confidence in teaching both 1:1 and small group sessions.

• Strong communication and emotional intelligence.

• Commitment to lesson preparation and student progress tracking.

• Fluent spoken and written English.

• Available to teach weekday sessions (8:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday–Friday).

• Willing to commit to a minimum of one full term (typically 10–12 weeks).

💡 Desirable:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or extensive teaching experience.

• Familiarity with SEN-aware or trauma-informed pedagogy.

• Comfortable with both in-person (London-based) and online delivery.

• Interest in mindset coaching, wellbeing, or enrichment teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver structured, engaging subject sessions aligned with Milestones’ 5-part method:

  • Masterclass (core teaching)

  • Challenge (creative/applied learning)

  • 1:1 Coaching (tailored support)

• Adapt content based on students’ learning profiles and pace.

• Collaborate with a team of educators, psychologists, and creatives.

• Provide weekly progress updates and participate in termly reviews.

Specialist Educator Roles:

We are hiring across multiple subject areas. Each educator must be able to deliver at least one subject (ideally more) and have experience in designing engaging, premium-level learning experiences.

🔬 STEM Elite Educator

• Subjects: Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry

• Desirable: Technology, Coding, Computing, Finance

📚 English & Humanities Elite Educator

• Subjects: English Language & Literature, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Politics

• Additional: Critical Thinking, Essay Writing, Debate, Journalism, Marketing

🎨 Creative Arts Elite Educator

• Subjects: Fine Arts, Crafts, Film, Photography

🎵 Music & Performing Arts Elite Educator

• Subjects: Music Theory, Singing, Piano, Strings, Drums, Guitar, Trumpet

• Additional: Drama, Theatre, LAMDA, Speech & Prose, Media Performance

🏅 Sports Elite Educator / Coach

• Subjects: Tennis, Golf, Athletics, Gymnastics, General Physical Education

Compensation & Benefits:
