Sql Server Dba

Description:

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As our SQL Server DBA, you will join a fast-paced environment with SQL Servers running On Prem, Azure & AWS.

Our SQL DBA team is spread across the globe with colleagues in USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Malaysia & India.

Working independently, you will bring a deep understanding of active-active cluster, high availability, data partitioning and sound knowledge of T-SQL.

We will count on you to:
 

• Work in a busy large global team supporting SQL Server and work closely with Offshore DBA Team
• Attend project meetings, provide design suggestions and plan implementation
• Monitor ticket queues and Change orders for timely resolution to issues and changes
• Proactively monitor SQL Servers to identify areas of concern before they become problems
• Plan for backup and recovery of databases and participate in DR drills over the weekend
• Configure LogShipping, Mirroring, Failover Clustering & AlwaysOn Availability Group
   

What you need to have:
 

• Experience in Installation and configuration of SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS & SSAS of SQL Version 2016 and higher.
• Hands on experience in resolving configuration/performance issues.
• A deep understanding of active-active cluster, high availability, data partitioning and sound knowledge of T-SQL.
