Staff Performance Analysis Engineer

Description:

Arm is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Staff Systems Performance Analysis Engineer to join its Central Technology Group. The role focuses on building early-stage SoC performance analysis platforms, enabling system technology exploration and shaping future Arm System/SoC architectures. By leveraging workload characterization and detailed analysis, the successful candidate will influence the design of CPUs, GPUs, and other Arm IP that power millions of devices worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run experiments on pre-Silicon SoC environments to analyze performance of Arm components (CPU, GPU, etc.) using real-world workloads.

• Enable, test, and debug complex workloads to understand behavior in SoC environments.

• Identify system performance bottlenecks and provide practical solutions to overcome them.

• Collaborate with system architects to define next-generation architectures and create performance-driven test plans.

• Characterize real-world use cases, design workloads, and develop methodologies to assess system performance.

• Contribute to developing new approaches, tools, and workflows for performance analysis.
