Sterile Services Technician

The Sterile Services Department is aligned with our Theatre team, due to this you will become a valued part of the Patient’s journey whilst they are within our care. Our Theatre Teams are the focal point for patients coming into the Hospital to utilise our wide range of treatments and surgical procedures we offer and we are looking for someone who is looking to thrive in a role that requires genuine autonomy and the chance to work as part of a continually changing environment. Duties and responsibilities:
 

• There is an element of Manual Handling required within the role, with full training provided.
• As an SST, duties will include routine tasks related to the delivery of care to ensure our patient’s health and well-being.
• You will be responsible for Reprocessing, Sterilising and repackaging instruments
• The successful candidate will also be responsible for the daily testing and logging of equipment

Who We're Looking For
 

• Previous experience within a sterile services environment is desirable
• Understanding of ISO13485 or a willingness to learn this
• Must be accurate and have a strong desire for attention to detail.
• Decontamination qualification is desirable
