Description:
Seasalt, a thriving retail lifestyle brand renowned for its creative designs and commitment to exceptional customer experiences, is seeking a Supervisor to join its Dorchester store on a 24-hour permanent contract. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual passionate about retail, customer engagement, and team leadership.
As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the management team by leading daily store operations, ensuring outstanding customer service, and maintaining high visual merchandising standards. You will be responsible for overseeing the store in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence among your colleagues.
Support the management team in cultivating a customer-focused service culture within the store.
Guide and motivate Sales Advisors to recommend additional services and drive sales through omni-channel initiatives, data gathering, and upselling.
Contribute to achieving store KPIs and profitability targets by supporting daily operational goals.
Implement visual merchandising and window standards to ensure the store consistently reflects Seasalt’s brand image.
Train team members to develop deep product knowledge and a strong understanding of the brand’s heritage, design inspiration, and customer base.
Communicate sales performance, feedback, and opportunities to the management team and wider business.
Manage key store operations, including stock management, loss prevention, cash handling, health and safety, GDPR compliance, and incident reporting.
Serve as a key holder, taking full responsibility for store operations when required.
Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a natural talent for inspiring and developing team members.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Commercially driven, with the ability to interpret KPIs and contribute to sales growth.
Adaptable and resilient under pressure, with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
Confident in delivering constructive feedback and collaborating with management to improve performance.
