Description:

B&Q is looking for a confident and friendly Store to Home Picker to join their team at Cribbs Causeway. This role is vital in supporting customers both on the shop floor and through click and collect services, contributing to the company’s mission of helping millions of customers improve their homes.

As a Store to Home Picker, you will engage with customers face-to-face and over the phone, assisting with product knowledge and ensuring efficient and safe handling of products ranging from small tins of paint to larger items like hot tubs. Flexibility and the ability to work well under shifting priorities in a busy retail environment are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support customers by sharing product knowledge and assisting with their home improvement ideas.

• Work efficiently and safely to fulfil click and collect orders within a one-hour service window.

• Handle a wide range of products, including some heavy items, with care and agility.

• Use new technology and adapt to evolving ways of working.

• Work flexibly on a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.

What We Need:

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, confident manner.

• Organised, analytical thinker with good time management and prioritisation skills.

• Comfortable with physical tasks including some heavy lifting.

• Adaptable and willing to learn new skills and technologies.

• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
