Stores Assistant

Description:

Located at the Penryn Campus, the Stores Assistant is responsible for storeroom and inventory management, including the safety and security of the stock within the store.

The Stores Assistant will source items for the stock inventory, in line with University sustainable procurement procedures, and will be responsible for the receipt and issue of all deliveries and the dispatching of goods and products to the correct recipient(s).

We are looking for an excellent communicator with IT skills as the role holder will be expected to utilise the University standard purchasing and inventory systems (TechnologyOne and LabCup), in addition to other web-based systems which are integral to the role.

The Stores Assistant must be able to work independently, as well as within a team, and have initiative to solve standard day to day problems and to consult with more senior staff where required.
