Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Strategic Partnerships Lead to build and scale a network of commercial partnerships for a new retail media product. With a strong focus on the UK and US markets, this role is pivotal in acquiring early clients, generating revenue, and shaping the product and business strategy.
Key outcomes of the role
Identify, initiate, and develop strategic partnerships with:
- Retailers and their retail media networks
- Retail and DTC brands
- Media and performance agencies
- Retail media ecosystem platforms (e.g., martech, adtech, CDPs)
- Co-develop the go-to-market strategy in collaboration with the CCO and product team
- Support the creation of sales and partnership materials including pitch decks, proposals, and pricing models
- Lead the full sales and partnership cycle from prospecting to deal closure
- Test and refine commercial models (e.g., CPC, tenancy, revenue share, SaaS)
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and product demos
About you
- Have a passion for retail media
- Bring demonstrable experience in strategic business development, partnerships, or B2B sales within retail and/or retail media
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment
- Bring the experience working with clients or partners in the UK or US markets

Experience and skills that will help you succeed
- Excellent relationship building and deal closing capabilities
- Existing contacts within retail media teams (eg Walmart, Tesco Media, Sainsbury's, Boots Media, Target Roundel)
- Familiar with European or US retail media landscapes
