Strategic Programme Lead

 

Description:

The role requires a strategic thinker who can plan, lead, and personally deliver impactful initiatives working closely with community partners, stakeholders, and clients to ensure successful programme delivery and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver social impact programmes aligned with workplans, budgets, goals, and timelines.

  • Engage and maintain strong relationships with community partners, clients, and beneficiaries.

  • Lead and collaborate with a small dedicated team committed to social change.

  • Ensure compliance with funder requirements and service level agreements.

  • Coordinate execution of existing programmes ensuring timely delivery within scope.

  • Monitor and evaluate programme impact with data-driven adjustments.

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on outcomes and success stories.

  • Manage resources, including volunteers and funds, to maximize impact.

  • Design and develop merchandise/products to support programmes and generate revenue.

  • Collaborate with marketing to promote programmes and increase awareness.

  • Continuously innovate and adopt best practices to improve programme effectiveness.

Additional Duties:

  • Planning programme schedules and timelines.

  • Budgeting and financial tracking.

  • Organising events and activities.

  • Supporting programme participants with guidance and learning resources.

  • Process documentation and improvement.

  • Liaising with other teams and senior staff.

  • Prioritising and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven project management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Experience with tools like ChatGPT and MS SharePoint.

  • Understanding of social impact principles, community development, and evaluation methods.

  • Passionate, proactive, detail-oriented, and a ‘Do-er’.

  • Employer pension scheme available (3% employer, 4% employee contribution)
