Strategic Projects Communications Lead

You will lead the development and delivery of high-impact communications across a complex set of academic, civic, commercial and community stakeholders, ensuring that the University’s ambitions are clearly articulated, widely shared and powerfully brought to life.

You will work at the heart of transformational change programmes that align with the University’s strategy for Innovation. If you are a strategic communicator who thrives on collaboration, creativity and purpose-driven change, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Your Role Will Be Varied, Involving
 

• Developing and delivering tailored communication strategies for complex projects, aligning with project timelines and deliverables
• Collaborating with a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders
• Producing high-quality content (copywriting, photography, video)
• Organising and implementing engagement activities such as briefings and events
• Defining success metrics, tracking engagement and reporting on outcomes

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Confidence working in dynamic and ambiguous environments
• Experience creating engaging multimedia content, with an understanding of different audiences
