Graduates choose between Transmission & Distribution or Nuclear sectors and work on impactful engineering projects that support societal, environmental, and economic progress.
Support engineering design and analysis across Transmission & Distribution or Nuclear projects
Contribute to FEED and Detailed Design stages
Assist with civil works design: earthworks, embankments, retaining walls, access roads, drainage systems
Support structural design: foundations, beams, columns, and structural connections
Conduct feasibility studies, optioneering, and site assessments
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project objectives
Prepare clear documentation and written work with strong attention to detail
Apply structured and analytical problem-solving approaches
Engage in Mott MacDonald’s early careers training and development programmes
Bachelor’s degree minimum; Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred for some roles)
Degree obtained no earlier than 2024 or expected completion by 2026
Less than 12 months of relevant experience at application
Eligibility for security clearance for roles requiring it (e.g., UK national or residents ≥5 years)
Proactive, self-driven approach to tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Analytical mindset and structured problem-solving skills
Genuine interest in the Energy sector and Mott MacDonald’s mission
Commitment to sustainability, inclusion, and social impact
Willingness to participate in social, community, and team activities
