Student Support And Development Officer

Description:

In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of our Student Wellbeing and Pastoral service, ensuring that our students receive top-notch support. You'll collaborate with key internal and external partners, including academics, the NHS, Counselling Services, and Disability Advice and Support Services, to foster a collaborative approach to student wellbeing.

What You'll Do:

• Lead a team providing front-line welfare and pastoral support.
• Oversee the operational delivery of mitigating circumstances, change of circumstances, and attendance and engagement monitoring.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure a seamless support system for our students.

What We're Looking For:

• An experienced manager with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a team.
• A deep understanding of academic and pastoral support procedures, particularly in postgraduate and undergraduate education.
• Proven experience in providing pastoral support to students.
