Our client is a values led architectural studio dedicated to supporting innovative, sustainable development focusing primarily on learning environments such as schools, and nurseries. They are looking for a passionate Studio Manager to join their light filled studio in Peckham Rye.

You will be joining an innovative and driven team of architects, designers, technicians, and storytellers on their mission to design kind, clever places to help people learn and grow. As their Studio Manager, you will oversee the smooth and efficient day-to-day planning and organisation of the studio, with a particular focus on client account management and team operations. This is a varied role that would suit a proactive, highly organised individual with excellent administrative and communication skills.

You will be the gatekeeper between their team and their clients, which will see confidently liaising with prospective clients at scoping stage and lead the onboarding of new clients and projects. As well as supporting and managing the workflow, feedback, and timelines of the projects to maintain client satisfaction. You will manage contracts, invoicing, budget tracking by keeping on top of scope creeps, variations and feedback so will need to be competent with spreadsheets.

This role will have talent management involved, including co-ordinating recruitment, onboarding, offboarding and staff performance and salary reviews. You will manage the allocation of internal and freelance resources across projects, forecasting future changes in workload and planning how to respond.

You will co-ordinate with the Finance Manager and Admin Support on financial matters as you will be on top of all budgets. And will also support the efficient day-to-day running of the studio environment.

This is a fun, varied and sometimes challenging role, so requires someone with at least 3+ years of relevant studio management experience in a similar studio setting.
