Description:
COTS Training, a leading training provider in the Transport & Logistics, Plant & Construction, and Industrial Training sectors, is seeking a Quality, Compliance & IQA Supervisor to join their team in the Swansea area. With established training centres in Llandarcy and Briton Ferry, COTS delivers high-quality training programs that are rigorously audited by a range of industry-recognised awarding bodies, including NPORS, RTITB, City & Guilds, SQA, CITB, DVSA, ALLMI, CILT, PASMA, Highfield, and JAUPT.
This role will play a vital part in maintaining compliance, ensuring the organisation upholds its accreditations, and driving continuous improvement across internal processes. As a key member of the management structure, the Quality, Compliance & IQA Supervisor will support both the compliance framework and the operational growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, organise, and maintain the Management System in line with awarding body certifications.
Act as Management Systems Gatekeeper, ensuring robust document control and version management.
Conduct internal audits and prepare thoroughly for external audits and accreditations.
Work with various pre-accreditation schemes to ensure readiness and compliance.
Identify gaps in policies, processes, and documentation, recommending corrective measures.
Maintain legal and audit registers to ensure regulatory compliance.
Support internal teams with training and guidance on compliance policies and procedures.
Oversee course administration and certification processes.
Manage compliance matrices including instructor qualifications and equipment/machinery certification.
Support re-accreditation of registered courses.
Conduct staff inductions covering all company procedures and compliance expectations.
Manage supplier documentation processes.
Essential Requirements:
Level 4 qualification in Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) or External Quality Assurance (EQA).
NEBOSH certification.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in IQA/EQA roles.
Background in quality and compliance management.
Experience with awarding bodies and external audit processes.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint).
High attention to detail, excellent communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to build and sustain strong working relationships.
Desirable Requirements:
Industry-specific knowledge (Transport, Logistics, Plant, Construction, Industrial Training).
Familiarity with Dante (CRM) system.

Full-time position with flexible working hours.
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience and qualifications).
