The Operations Manager reports directly into the MD of the business to oversee the end-to-end movement of goods from their European suppliers to shelves around the world. This will include working with key suppliers, hauliers, and distributers as well as the internal team to oversee a smooth flow of goods.

With a pre-Series A investment round closed they are well funded to drive their continued expansion which has come from a mix of seasoned investors and high-profile A list celebrities. This includes continued growth in the UK, with plans to expand more broadly into US, European and global markets. There are also some exciting product development projects in the pipeline and the brand has just finished up a recent rebrand which they are utilising as part of a large marketing drive.

The role is based at their HQ alongside the Sales and Marketing teams. The offices have a creative and modern feel to them and are a real incubator for collaboration across the business. The distribution site and team are based in the North and would be managed remotely from their London offices.

The Role:

The Operations Manager will work closely with the Managing Director and play an integral role in scaling the business from an Operations and Supply chain perspective. This role will also oversee an Operations Admin Assistant as a direct report.

As the business continues to grow the Managing Director is keen for the Operations manager to grow with it and the business have some exciting projects and developments for you to be involved in.

Responsibilities

Ø Working alongside the Managing Director in organising the Demand and Supply Planning for B2b fulfilment

Ø Overseeing logistics from Europe as well as across the UK

Ø Updating daily operations around supply chain and logistics. This includes the demand planning, production reports, generation of COGS reports and reconciliation of stock

Ø Overseeing 1 direct report and supporting in building out the team in the future.

Ø Support with planning and development of internal processes and implementations

Ø Responsibility for overseeing stock levels and providing robust reports around these

Ø Reporting KPI performance

Ø Working alongside the Sales Director and their team to understand forecasts, reports and suggestions for improvement

Ø Working with Managing Director on new systems and implementations

Ø Ensuring that orders are placed with suppliers in a timely fashion

Ø Monthly stock reporting

Ø Working closely with the Sales/ marketing and general teams

Ø Liaising with production facilities and warehouses

Ø Client and supplier management

Ø Audit of client payments / audit terms
