Description:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s tech savvy and interested in developing themselves and their career in a local Cornish company.
Please note this role is primarily based in one of our head office locations (Falmouth or Redruth) with occasional remote working.
You'll help us by:
- Answering calls and emails from Seasalt staff regarding technical issues and logging them into our IT Service Management tool - FreshService.
- Communicating with 3rd parties to log issues, working with them to ensure tickets are followed up and responded to within an appropriate timeframe.
- Troubleshooting and resolving Service Desk tickets within specified SLAs.
- Participating in root cause investigations for known problems and incidents.
- Contributing towards standard operating procedures and knowledgebase articles.
- Assisting in supporting interfaces between various business systems.
- Monitoring batch routines
- Building/imaging of hardware – laptops, PCs etc
- Repairing and/or replacing IT equipment
- Preparing IT equipment for new starters
- Receipting deliveries
- Testing of returned IT equipment
- Assisting in Service Improvement Initiatives.
- Depending on experience, helping to guide and assist Junior Support Technicians where required.
