Support Worker

Description:

Hollybank Trust is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join their Adult Service team in South Kirkby. This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same, providing care and support to adults and young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities as well as physical disabilities.

Key responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, personal care, eating and drinking, healthcare needs, attending appointments and social engagements, clinical support such as administering medication and Gastronomy care, and encouraging personal development through hobbies and interests. Support Workers will also engage with new digital systems designed to free up more time for direct interaction with service users.
