Trowers & Hamlins, a City-led international law firm with over 180 partners and 1000 staff, is seeking a Sustainability and Responsible Business Reporting Analyst to support its ESG initiatives and reporting capabilities. This role plays a key part in supporting internal sustainability frameworks, carbon reporting initiatives, and firmwide responsible business practices. The successful candidate will provide insights from ESG data, work closely with procurement teams, and contribute to broader firm sustainability campaigns and goals aligned with the 2030 vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support sustainability and responsible business reporting processes across various ESG frameworks.

  • Enhance the firm’s carbon reporting activities by collecting and tracking emissions data and helping to plan for reduction strategies.

  • Analyse ESG data to identify trends and generate actionable sustainability insights.

  • Collaborate with the supplier onboarding team to ensure integration of responsible business practices into procurement.

  • Assess supply chain activities for sustainability risks and opportunities.

  • Assist with delivering internal sustainability initiatives, campaigns, and events in alignment with the firm’s long-term sustainability goals.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of professional experience in sustainability reporting, carbon management, or supply chain risk evaluation.

  • Proficiency in data interpretation and ESG-related analytics.

  • Knowledge of data governance, management, validation, and analytics processes.

  • Familiarity with carbon reporting platforms or systems is advantageous.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

  • Clear, effective communication and reporting skills.

  • A self-starting, proactive approach to sustainability improvement.
