Sustainability Executive

The Sustainability Group is a fast-growing London-based startup committed to helping organizations worldwide embed sustainability into their core business strategy while enhancing profitability and impact. We are looking for a Sustainability Executive for a 12-month maternity cover role, offering the opportunity to work with some of the most innovative brands on ESG and sustainability projects.

In this role, you will support clients in developing and implementing sustainability strategies, working with FuturePlus, our SaaS-based ESG impact management and reporting platform.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Client ESG Support: Guide clients in using FuturePlus for impact management and sustainability reporting.
✔ Strategy & Problem-Solving: Assist in developing sustainability and social impact strategies.
✔ Sustainability Data & Audits: Help clients compile and present sustainability impact evidence and conduct sustainability assessments.
✔ Client Reports & Presentations: Prepare detailed sustainability reports and ensure a seamless client experience.
✔ Research & Thought Leadership: Contribute to thought leadership, blogs, and newsletters on sustainability topics.
✔ New Business Opportunities: Identify growth opportunities for existing clients.
✔ Internal Collaboration: Work with senior management on client projects and consulting initiatives.
✔ Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day operations and internal processes.

Requirements:

✔ 12+ months of client-facing experience in sustainability, ESG, or a related role (entry-level candidates with relevant transferable skills will also be considered).
✔ Strong understanding of key sustainability principles, ESG frameworks, and social impact strategies.
✔ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills with attention to detail.
✔ Creative and adaptable thinker with the ability to design simple solutions to complex problems.
✔ Outstanding communication skills – confident in stakeholder engagement and client-facing interactions.
✔ Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, as well as within a cross-functional team.
✔ Hybrid Work Model – Able to work in-office near London Bridge with some remote flexibility.
✔ Legally authorized to work in the UK on an indefinite basis.
