System Analyst

 

Description:

There will be the opportunity to work with a variety of internal stakeholders at different levels to support and enhance key processes and user experience. You will also engage with external stakeholders via virtual conferences and customer forums to contribute to knowledge transfer and training content.

The University is currently operating a blended working policy which means you will get flexibility around working arrangements. You would need to come into the office a minimum of once a week, on a Thursday when the Finance and HR Systems Team have a team day. You will have the opportunity to work in the office on additional days of the week if you choose, but the arrangement offers excellent flexibility for staff.

 

What will you be doing?

 

  • Assessing day to day requirements around fixes and supporting a variety of contacts such as super users, product owners and 3rd parties to make changes and resolve complex issues
  • Using your technical knowledge to design, develop and test solutions and configuration changes within MyERP and other University applications
  • Providing 3rd line technical support to meet service level agreements and maintain excellent customer service
  • Collaborating with your team, as well as other stakeholders both internally and externally

You should apply if

  • You hold a professional qualification or degree in computing, or have vocational experience which demonstrates equivalent professional development
  • You understand service management including incident, problem, change and configuration management
  • Your oral and written communication skills are sharp in relaying technical information to technical and non-technical audiences
