System Integration Lead

Teleconsult, a leading provider in the European teleradiology sector since 2008, is seeking a highly capable and motivated System Integration Lead to join their team in Milton Keynes, UK. The company operates across multiple countries and collaborates with over 70 Swedish hospitals, UK NHS trusts, Dutch healthcare institutions, and even the United Nations on global health projects. In this pivotal role, the System Integration Lead will be responsible for the seamless integration and operation of internal and external systems. This includes providing both remote and onsite IT support, configuring servers and networks, supporting IT engineers, and ensuring system performance and security. The position also involves designing and supporting medical data workflows with hospital partners and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure in alignment with data privacy, information security, and quality management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support global IT efforts, including out-of-hours technical support

• Train new staff and doctors, manage workstation configuration and user access

• Oversee internal and external integration projects, including system upgrades and expansions

• Administer and maintain platforms and server infrastructure (Windows, Linux, Mac)

• Manage VPN, firewall, Hyper-V environments, and scripting tools

• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and perform regular risk assessments

• Develop and maintain IT documentation

• Coordinate with international, cross-functional teams and external clients for integration workflows

• Uphold Teleconsult’s commitment to continuous quality improvement

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, systems integration, or infrastructure management

• Strong knowledge in Windows OS, Linux, Mac OS X, TCP/IP, VPN, Hyper-V, scripting, and firewalls

• Proficient in troubleshooting complex issues in a mixed-OS environment

• Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, Citrix)

• Basic programming/scripting skills

• Familiarity with healthcare standards like DICOM, HL7, and integration engines like MirthConnect is a strong plus

• Fluent in English (written and verbal); Swedish and/or Spanish is an advantage

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
