Systems Analyst

Description:

Unisys is looking for a technically curious and client-oriented Systems Analyst to support system performance and reliability for a long-standing financial services client. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders across Linux, Windows, and Mainframe platforms. Occasional travel (1–2 times per month) to client sites may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and report system performance across platforms.

• Serve as a key contact for client interactions, resolving issues and suggesting improvements.

• Contribute to system availability and reliability via incident response, compliance, and operational enhancements.

• Maintain clear documentation, including network diagrams and configuration records.

• Support evaluation of hardware/software requests for performance and cost-efficiency.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver system updates and initiatives.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Technical foundation in IT, systems administration, or software support.

• Awareness of system performance metrics and capacity planning.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies.

Desirable (Not Essential):

• Familiarity with infrastructure principles and system architecture.

• Exposure to financial or banking systems.

• Awareness of ClearPath or other mission-critical systems.
