Systems Design Engineer

n response to some exciting business developments in Airbus Cyber, our Systems Engineering team is growing. As a Systems Design Engineer you will collaborate with a multi-functional team including Software, Hardware, Mechanical and FPGA engineers to deliver High Grade Crypto and Key Management solutions. You will be responsible for providing system level design and solutions to the team.

How You Will Contribute To The Team
 

• Follow Systems Engineering processes to develop technical solutions to engineering problems, ensuring a coherent and consistent system design
• Development of the project requirement baseline, including flowing-down and supporting the agreement of sub-system requirements
• Develop Systems Engineering artefacts across the product development lifecycle.
• Utilise Model Based Systems Engineering to create a robust model of the system being developed
• Collaborate with the system, hardware and software architects to ensure consistency, design for modularity and re-use, and technical excellence

About You

• Experience across the full Systems Engineering lifecycle, preferably using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Ability to produce concise, coherent and detailed technical reports
• Ability to apply learned skills and expertise and support more junior systems engineers
