Systems Engineer

Description:

We are looking for a Systems engineer to join our expanding A320/A330 Landing Gear Team here in Bristol. The team is made up of a variety of enthusiastic engineers working on the complete Landing gear structure and systems and hence you will have the opportunity to work with many different people and on many topics.

We are a flexible team hence you will have the ability not only to work on specific systems/avionics

topics but also contribute to steering your development across all the landing gear activities.

The Landing Gear team is also a very social team and enjoy regular opportunities to get together both during and outside work hours.

How You Will Contribute To The Team

An example of the types of topics you will be involved in include :
 

• You will be supporting Braking Systems / Steering Systems / Extension Retraction/ Monitoring system inservice events /problems reported by operators to determine route cause/potential solutions and continued airworthiness impacts and actions
• You will be working with a variety of other engineers across the landing gear department on incremental developments such as Aircraft Weight increases / certifications for new operational environments/new Aircraft functionality
• This opportunity involves Stakeholder management including significant Vendor and management for all activities
• You will have the ability to lead the System /Avionics modifications from end to end
   

About You
 

• Educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline
• Engineering experience from within the Aerospace industry or a similar industry
• You will have a strong systems engineering background
