Description:

We are looking for a colleague who can teach Art to at least GCSE level; the ability to teach Photography would be beneficial. You will hold a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject and will be a highly effective practitioner, having the ability to ensure the young people you teach can benefit from your specialist subject knowledge, securing their own and being able to apply this.

As a teacher, you will be enthusiastic, optimistic, and creative. You will lead a calm and disciplined classroom in department where learning is valued. You will possess excellent inter-personal skills and will be able to communicate effectively with staff, young people, parents and other stakeholders. You will have effective experience as a teacher or trainee teacher of KS3 and KS4 and will have experience in the role of a form tutor.
