We are seeking a colleague who has the drive and ambition to further develop the Social Sciences Team and deliver outstanding progress and outcomes for our young people. As a teacher you will be supported and challenged, so that as well as contributing to students’ success and that of the School, you are personally developed in your career.

The Social Sciences Team is made up of 2 dedicated experienced colleagues. Students can choose to study the following courses at Post-16: AQA A Level Sociology, AQA A Level Psychology and WJEC L3 BTEC Criminology.

St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School & Sixth-Form College is a mixed voluntary Academy for 11-18 year olds, based in North Featherstone in West Yorkshire. There are currently 1,538 students in attendance. The school opened in 1963 and has a proud history. We were judged as Good by Ofsted in November 2021; we were also judged as Good by the Diocesan Section 48 Inspection in April 2017.

We are proudly part of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust which comprises of three Secondary Schools and twelve Primary Schools.
