The University of Salford is inviting applications for the position of Teaching Fellow in Counselling and Psychotherapy within the School of Health and Society. This is a fixed-term part-time (0.4 FTE) role lasting for 24 months, providing an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic academic community dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in the field of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

As a Teaching and Learning Fellow, you will contribute to the delivery of the university’s successful undergraduate Counselling and Psychotherapy programmes. The role involves supporting learning and teaching activities, conducting tutorials, supervising student projects, and contributing to research and scholarly initiatives within the subject area. This position is ideal for practitioners who wish to develop their academic teaching and research expertise within a university environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops across undergraduate Counselling and Psychotherapy programmes.

  • Provide supervision for student research projects and offer personal tutoring support.

  • Engage in curriculum development and contribute to innovative teaching practices.
