Oxford Outcomes is seeking dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to join the team at Medway Green School in Wouldham, Rochester, a special needs provision offering education to students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and SEN requirements. The role involves supporting both educational and developmental needs of students, working closely with class teachers to create a supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives. You’ll be responsible for helping pupils access the curriculum, build independence, and develop confidence while promoting positive behaviour and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, focusing on inclusion and independence
Contribute to creating a structured, nurturing learning environment
Promote students' educational, emotional, and moral development
Assist in managing classroom resources and materials, ensuring inclusivity for SEMH learners
Encourage engagement, resilience, and personal growth in students
Participate in school activities, including offsite educational trips
Candidate Profile:

Proactive, flexible, and patient approach to learning support
Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
