Teaching Assistant Level 2

Description:

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced, hardworking and determined teaching assistant who can engage with children of all abilities and needs to allow them to reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a Level 2 qualification QCF (or NVQ prior to 2010) in Teaching and Learning

• Have GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Mathematics

• Have an understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding

• Have experience of working with children

• Have knowledge and experience of supporting children with SEND (in particular ASD)

• Be a strong team player

• Be able to use their initiative and be resourceful
