Description:

Psicon Ltd, a specialist neurodevelopmental service provider working closely with NHS trusts, is seeking a highly motivated ADHD Team Lead to oversee and support its ADHD service in Canterbury, Kent. Psicon provides autism and ADHD assessments and is committed to delivering innovative, high-quality healthcare services.

The ADHD Team Lead will play a key leadership role, ensuring smooth daily operations, mentoring staff, and driving service quality through effective oversight and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with the Service Manager, oversee the performance of team members, manage KPIs, and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to balance both detail-oriented tasks and strategic oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the ADHD team, ensuring staffing levels and service continuity.

  • Monitor and maintain KPIs in line with contractual requirements.

  • Oversee administrators and assist in daily/weekly data monitoring and reporting.

  • Compile activity and quality reports for management discussions.

  • Manage care pathways and operational issues in collaboration with the Service Manager.

  • Contribute to the design and review of standard operating procedures.

  • Act as a key point of contact with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., commissioning managers, CAMHS managers).

  • Provide occasional weekend “on-call” support (1 weekend day every 4 weeks).

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong leadership and motivational skills to drive high-performing teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication aligned with Psicon’s values.

  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a focus on KPIs and efficiency.

  • Confidence in liaising with external partners and managers.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to collate, interpret, and present data.

  • A background in healthcare, psychology, or neurodevelopmental services is advantageous but not mandatory.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

  • Core schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (30-minute break)

  • Hybrid: 4 days in office / 1 day WFH

  • 1 weekend day “on call” duty every 4 weeks
