Description:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong expertise in Card Payments and Network Systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working across authorization, clearing, and settlement platforms within major payment schemes such as Visa and Mastercard.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and user stories
- Work extensively on card payment lifecycle flows, including issuing, acquiring, authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
- Map and validate data elements across internal systems and external payment networks
- Support scheme compliance, certification, and testing activities (e.g., Mastercard MAS testing)
- Design and validate end-to-end payment test scenarios
- Investigate and analyze transaction issues using SQL queries and log analysis tools
- Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, product, and network teams in an Agile/Scrum/SAFe environment
- Ensure adherence to PCI DSS, chargeback rules, and dispute resolution processes
Key Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in Payments domain
- Strong expertise in card issuing and acquiring lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with Visa Base II/III or Mastercard systems (CIS)
- Deep understanding of ISO 8583, ISO 20022, and JSON-based APIs
- Strong knowledge of authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation processes
- Good understanding of PCI DSS standards, chargebacks, and dispute management
- Experience with cryptographic PIN translation and security requirements in payments
