Technical Instructor

Description:

Veeva Systems, a leader in cloud-based software for the life sciences industry, is seeking a Technical Instructor to join their global team. This fully remote role is ideal for a training professional who excels in delivering enterprise-level software education and seeks to help thousands of Veeva’s customers, partners, and employees improve their skills and succeed in their roles.

As a Technical Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in enabling learners — from platform architects and developers to application-specific analysts and super users — to get the most out of Veeva's suite of products. You will act as a product expert and an advocate for training excellence, delivering impactful and engaging virtual training sessions, with occasional on-site engagements (up to 20% travel).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective training sessions, primarily in a virtual setting.

• Actively build and maintain your technical expertise in Veeva products and training delivery.

• Serve as a liaison and subject matter expert, collaborating with internal teams to improve training programs.

• Participate in initiatives to enhance learner experiences and align with Veeva’s broader business goals.

• Provide continuous learner support through Q&A sessions, troubleshooting, and office hours.

• Identify and recommend improvements in content and delivery methods.

• Work with leadership to incorporate continuous learning strategies.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience delivering technical software training in enterprise environments.

• Strong presentation skills and ability to manage virtual classrooms effectively.

• Deep understanding of adult learning principles and training evaluation methods.

• Fluent in English (spoken, written, and reading).

• Highly self-motivated, with a commitment to customer success and quality.

• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with relational databases.

• Knowledge of the life sciences industry or related technical cloud solutions.
