Technical Network Security Consultant

Description:

Join a leading multi-billion-pound tech VAR business as a Technical Network Security Consultant. This role involves designing, planning, and implementing complex technical projects in network security. Working closely with top Principal Technical Consultants, Sales and Solutions teams, you will provide the necessary technical expertise to close sales opportunities and improve service offerings. This position also offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies in the Cisco & Security Firewall sectors, including Fortinet, Palo Alto, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on Low-Level and High-Level Designs, Diagrams, Bill of Materials (BoM), and Statement of Works (SoW).
• Capture and analyze requirements and design, implement, migrate, and test technical solutions.
• Create and present customer-facing documentation.
• Lead and facilitate project design workshops.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Customers, and other business units.
• Stay current with certifications and be open to ongoing training on the latest technologies.

Key Skills / Certifications Required:

• CCNP (minimum)
• Fortinet NSE4 (minimum)
• Palo Alto PCNSA (minimum)
• Checkpoint CCSA (desirable)
• Cisco Firepower (desirable)
• Cisco R&S
• SD-WAN (highly desirable)
