Description:
In this is very versatile, home-based role as Technical Sales Specialist, South UK, we are looking for a fresh mind to join our high performing team in Cramlington with Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager UK & IRL as part of the Western Region Sales Team (UK, Ireland), with a dotted reporting line to the UK & Ireland Country Manager.
Your Mission:
- While travelling extensive within UK, you will be the first point of contact for technical support and advice to our customers in the printing and converting industry, regarding applications, and/or conversion.
- Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Act as interface between Technical and Sales departments as the specialist for pressure sensitive materials.
- Work in close collaboration with customers to understand their requirements and translate these into custom made product solutions.
- Explore new application and market opportunities.
- Contribute to new product development from conception to market.
- Analyse, troubleshoot and quickly come up with solutions to Customer questions regarding label printing, conversion and applications.
- Lead external product and technology training.
- Have account management ownership of an agreed number of Customers in the sales region including all commercial and sales activities.
Qualifications
What we expect from you! - Your Expertise:
- Bachelor's Degree desirable
- Proficient knowledge and experience in the packaging industry.
- 5+ years in Sales, Business Development, Marketing or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical, project management, research and reporting skills
- Possess good teamwork, leadership and facilitation abilities
- Good communicator (verbal and written) and presenter to internal and external parties
- Versatile and flexible with a "can do attitude"
- Capable in working in a fast moving environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to Work in a Corporate environment.
- Must have a clean UK Driving License
