We are currently recruiting for a driven Technical Support Specialist to join a market leading company that specialize in mechanical engineering equipment. The Technical Support Specialist will be part of our clients onsite support team and will be responsible for providing customers with technical support, remotely diagnosing and resolving issues with our clients equipment, upgrading systems, and providing training and advice to our users.

Responsibilities for the Technical Support Specialist

  • Support weighing/materials handling hardware and software support via remote tools
  • Remote Customer Training for Users
  • Supporting other Customer Service colleagues with technical enquiries and requests


Key Skills & Experience for the Technical Support Specialist
Essential

  • Technically based qualifications or proven experience in a technical support role within a manufacturing environment
  • Remotely supported customers with problem solving, fault finding, training and technology
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
