Linklaters, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Technology Contracts Manager to support its transformational change programme aimed at reimagining the way business teams collaborate to deliver exceptional client service. The role ensures services delivered by key external partners meet the firm’s standards, contractual requirements, and strategic objectives.

The Technology Contracts Manager will manage day-to-day operational relationships with designated 3rd parties, clarify escalation routes, track performance, ensure adherence to contracts, and act as the primary operational contact for resolving service issues or disputes. The role also supports contract mobilisation, operational readiness, and performance monitoring, while fostering strong supplier relationships and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead contract mobilisation and stakeholder engagement, coordinating kick-off meetings with suppliers

  • Establish performance baselines, KPIs, and reporting frameworks for contracts

  • Develop and maintain contract management tools, trackers, and operational documentation

  • Ensure operational readiness and enablement of suppliers

  • Monitor performance against SLAs and contract terms; track milestones and provide reports to stakeholders

  • Identify and manage risks, escalate issues, and mediate disputes

  • Support governance, reporting, and financial management including invoice reconciliation and cost optimisation

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in vendor management

  • Support contract change, renewal, and exit strategies

Requirements:

  • Practical experience (5+ years) in contract/vendor management in large, complex organisations

  • Experience with BPO or managed service providers in legal/professional services preferred

  • Strong ability to interpret, apply, and manage commercial contracts and service schedules

  • Excellent relationship management, stakeholder communication, and conflict resolution skills

  • Solid understanding of financial controls, billing, and cost optimisation

  • Proactive, structured approach to risk management and issue resolution

  • Collaborative and inclusive leadership style
