Description:
To develop and increase business by achieving the Sales & Margin targets and volume turnover whilst representing the Company’s interest and connections out in the field and to grow sales, margin and shelf space within designated account base.
Key Responsibilities
- To communicate Company and Divisional Strategy to all key people within designated account base.
- To identify sales opportunities and negotiate to obtain orders which meet sales budget achievement and margin budget achievement in order to increase business turnover and profit.
- To undertake all administrative tasks in support of sales to meet departmental requirements.
- Use Clint Link and adhere to Commercial Excellence practices.
- To plan and implement visits to new and existing customers to maintain awareness of the company’s product range and to gain understanding of competitor activity within the market.
- To be a champion of their own customers and meet specific customer needs in order to provide the best possible service.
- Prepare account plans for high spending customers and monitor on a regular basis
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- Educated to ‘A’ level standard or equivalent
- 2-4 years Sales Experience
- Commercial business acumen
- Negotiating Skills
- Communication Skills
- Product Knowledge
- Company Operations Knowledge
- Computer Skills; Outlook, Excel; PowerPoint
- Full Driving Licence
