Territory Manager

 

Description:

To develop and increase business by achieving the Sales & Margin targets and volume turnover whilst representing the Company’s interest and connections out in the field and to grow sales, margin and shelf space within designated account base.

 

Key Responsibilities
 

  • To communicate Company and Divisional Strategy to all key people within designated account base.
  • To identify sales opportunities and negotiate to obtain orders which meet sales budget achievement and margin budget achievement in order to increase business turnover and profit.
  • To undertake all administrative tasks in support of sales to meet departmental requirements.
  • Use Clint Link and adhere to Commercial Excellence practices.
  • To plan and implement visits to new and existing customers to maintain awareness of the company’s product range and to gain understanding of competitor activity within the market.
  • To be a champion of their own customers and meet specific customer needs in order to provide the best possible service.
  • Prepare account plans for high spending customers and monitor on a regular basis
     

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
 

  • Educated to ‘A’ level standard or equivalent
  • 2-4 years Sales Experience
  • Commercial business acumen
  • Negotiating Skills
  • Communication Skills
  • Product Knowledge
  • Company Operations Knowledge
  • Computer Skills; Outlook, Excel; PowerPoint
  • Full Driving Licence
