Description:
As an expert within the Solutions Development function, you will be working on bids ranging from small product deliveries to complex systems and managed services. You will mentor and support VV&T Leads working on lower complexity bids to ensure best V&V practices in our solutions.
How You Will Contribute To The Team
- The role holder will be a Senior System V&V Engineer with significant experience in business winning and the production of compelling bid artefacts.
- The role provides the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) expertise for SC UK bids and project implementation.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining the test and evaluation strategy, plans and processes for end-to-end solutions.
- Ensuring that all system verification and validation (V&V) activity is planned and executed to achieve the ‘as required’ solution.
- Working closely with other roles to ensure customer acceptance is achieved.
- Provide the ‘Independent’ oversight to the product/engineering functions carrying out V&V activities.
- Member of the bid CCB.
About You
- You will have 5 or more years’ experience in a technical telecommunications environment.
- Experience of IVV&T management within a complex bid or acquisition environment.
- Be able to coordinate and manage planning of the system and/or acceptance tests, including software security testing, within a development or integration project or programme.
- Be able to take responsibility for integrity of testing and acceptance activities and coordinate the execution of activities and provide authoritative advice and guidance on any aspect of test planning and execution.
- Have the skills to define and communicate the test strategy for the project and manage all test processes, including test plans, resources, costs, timescales, test deliverables and traceability.
- Have experience of working with internal and external stakeholders to manage the relationships with respect to testing matters.
