This role is based within the test and MAIT division of a pioneering company whose technology contributes to groundbreaking advancements in low Earth orbit satellites, playing a critical role in earth observation and telecommunications. As a Test Technician, you will be at the forefront of testing next-generation space products, working directly with test engineers and the broader MAIT team, fostering a strong culture of learning, ownership, and collaboration. You will be involved in planning, executing, and documenting test procedures to ensure product functionality, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical and thermal sub-system/system-level tests to assess functionality, compliance, and safety

  • Prepare, execute, and document test procedures as per detailed specifications

  • Set up and operate various testing setups including thermal, mechanical, RF, and electrical/electronic equipment

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of test tools and hardware

  • Support the development and ongoing improvement of test protocols and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Test Technician, especially in Space, Nuclear, or Aerospace sectors

  • Strong understanding of test procedures and safety protocols

  • Familiarity with equipment such as thermal vacuum chambers, thermal chambers, and laser scanners

  • Competency in technical report writing and documentation analysis

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • A proactive, solution-driven mindset with a keen interest in troubleshooting and continuous improvement
