Tudor Grange Academy is an outstanding 11-18 comprehensive school situated in South Solihull in the West Midlands. We are looking to appoint a support worker who will support students to access learning in our temporary ARP called The Elms (Additionally Resourced Provision). This provision is for students in Year 7 to 9 who have difficulties with SEMH (social, emotional, and mental health) as well as EBSNA (emotionally based school nonattendance). Referrals can be taken from all Solihull schools, and we have capacity for eight students. The aim is then to transition the students back to their home school after two terms. We offer a calm and nurturing environment and students flourish whilst they are with us. The Elms Support Worker will provide general support to The Elms teachers in class, SEMH interventions, as well as administrative support for The Elms Coordinator. Safeguarding the welfare of the students in The Elms will be a key responsibility.
