Trainee Accountant

A small and successful Accountancy Practice based near Maidstone are currently seeking a Trainee Accountant to assist them in the provision of their wide range of accountancy and taxation services.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a career focussed and enthusiastic trainee with a strong work ethic and a desire to develop a career within an accountancy practice to join a boutique firm of accountants. Extensive on the job training will be provided for the successful applicant, combined with the opportunity to work towards achieving the full AAT qualification.

As you work through your AAT qualification you will be given exposure and experience in the following areas:

• Bookkeeping for clients
• Preparing accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and LLP’s.
• Draft Statutory Accounts for limited companies.
• Assist in the production of personal tax returns.
• Prepare draft tax computations and Corporation Tax returns
• Preparation of Management Accounts.

To be considered for this Trainee Accountant role, you may have gained some accounts or bookkeeping experience but my client is happy to consider someone looking for an entry level accounts role.
