Description:
While working as part of a team the job holder will be required to maintain a continuous flow and ensuring a safe and efficient operation of a production line.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:

To ensure the team follows all the company health and safety rules and guidelines at all times
- To ensure all permanent and temporary staff follow HACCP, quality, specification, and GMP procedures at all times, achieving the required standards
- To organise personnel and assist in the training off all permanent and temporary staff, ensuring a safe and smooth operation, changeover and clean down of a production line
- To report any failures or non-conformances in health and safety, HACCP ,quality, specification, GMP and maintenance
- To ensure production plans are achieved and regularly monitored, liaising with all other departments ensuring the production lines run efficiently and are well maintained
- To Maintain good teamwork and take personal responsibility for the task that has been assigned
- To be involved in continuous improvement to support company objectives
- Full working knowledge including cleaning and changeovers of filling and capping equipment, their control systems and safe operating rules
- Set up, operation, basic fault-finding maintenance and cleaning of all equipment in area
- Responsible for change part quality and maintenance
- Assist engineering team as appropriate where training has been received
- Standing in for supervisors when they are on holiday.
Experience / Qualifications:

Previous experience in a high speed automated production environment in the FMCG industry
- Strong leadership skills and a good team player
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A methodical and efficient approach
- An ability to use own initiative to problem solve
- Good knowledge of health and safety and food hygiene
- Able to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
- English language/numeracy skills
- Health and Safety training
- Food & Hygiene Level 2
