Our client, an award-winning and rapidly expanding travel company renowned for designing bespoke tours across Latin America and the Polar regions, is seeking an experienced Travel Commercial and Marketing Manager to join their dynamic team. This pivotal role will combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution to enhance brand visibility, drive revenue growth, and strengthen customer acquisition and retention.

The ideal candidate will possess deep experience in the travel industry, particularly in commercial, marketing, or product management roles, with strong knowledge of the Latin American market. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week in the Surrey/South West London office, offering a perfect blend of office collaboration and remote flexibility.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing and product strategies in alignment with company objectives.

  • Oversee product portfolio performance, ensuring profitability and market relevance across offerings.

  • Support revenue forecasting and target management across marketing and product lines.

  • Manage marketing budgets to optimize ROI and efficiency.

  • Plan and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns, including paid media, SEO, email, social media, partnerships, and offline channels.

  • Lead and manage PR initiatives, including press releases, press trips, and media relations.

  • Conduct competitor analysis and monitor industry trends to refine commercial strategy.

  • Build and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders, including tourist boards, cruise lines, and strategic partners.

  • Mentor and support a small cross-functional team across the marketing and product departments.


Experience and Skills Required:

  • Strong background in a commercial, product, or marketing management role within the travel industry.

  • Hands-on marketing expertise across both digital and offline channels with a proven focus on ROI.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with confidence in external representation.

  • Strong analytical ability to interpret data and make sound commercial decisions.

  • Knowledge and experience of product development, supplier negotiation, and contracting processes.

  • In-depth understanding of the Latin American tourism market.


Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary up to £45,000 per year (£3750 per month) depending on experience.
