Description:
To lead the development and delivery of Yateley Industries’ trusts, foundations, lottery and statutory fundraising strategy - securing sustainable, multi-year funding that enables us to deliver our mission. This role will drive income growth by developing high-value proposals, cultivating funder relationships and ensuring excellent stewardship and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a multi-year strategy to grow income from charitable trusts, foundations, statutory bodies and lotteries.
- Align all fundraising activity with the wider organisational strategy and priorities.
- Identify and pursue long-term opportunities to diversify and strengthen unrestricted and project-based income.
Trusts & Grants Fundraising
- Lead on writing compelling, tailored funding applications for small, medium and high-value grants.
- Proactively research and build a robust funding pipeline through horizon scanning, funder mapping and prospect research.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date case for support materials.
- Build strong internal relationships to understand programme delivery and develop collaborative proposals.
Funder Stewardship & Relationship Management
- Manage funder relationships with professionalism and care, including meetings, visits and ongoing communication.
- Ensure timely, high-quality narrative and financial reporting.
- Work with the CEO and Trustees to cultivate strategic partnerships with funders and identify opportunities for co-creation and repeat funding.
Monitoring, Compliance & CRM
- Track all applications, income, deadlines, and reporting schedules.
- Ensure all data handling complies with GDPR and fundraising best practice.
- Report progress quarterly to CEO and Trustees, including pipeline activity and income forecasts.
Organisational Contribution
- Act as a senior voice in the income generation function, contributing to broader fundraising plans.
- Support with development of organisational budgets for fundraising bids.
- Represent Yateley Industries externally at funder events, briefings and networking sessions.
- Support implementation of a CRM database and effective income reporting tools.
