Duties And Responsibilities Of The Utility Surveyor
- Conduct surveys to locate and map utilities.
- Use specialized equipment such as radio detection and tracing equipment to accurately identify and mark utility lines.
- Interpret utility plans, blueprints, and as-built drawings to determine the location and depth of utilities.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to provide accurate utility information for project planning and design.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during utility surveys.
- Analyse survey data and create detailed reports, maps, and drawings.
- Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure accurate measurements and reliable results.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to utility surveying.
