This UX/UI role sits within a well-known travel company and focuses around designing and improving ecommerce interfaces that are used by millions.

Their eCommerce offering is set to go through a major, multi-year redesign which you can be at the forefront of. It's not just day to day design either, you'll have the opportunity to implement design strategies and your ideas.

You'll work across a portfolio of ecommerce design products with the goal of enhancing the customer experience and being responsible for the entire design journey.

The ideal candidate is one that has worked in the ecommerce space and wants to design and improve a plethora of ecommerce products. Maybe you want to get a say in design strategy and a chance to do things the way you want to do them. If so, then this might be the right role for you.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Working with the ecommerce director and design team to deliver the UX/UI strategy
  • Designing interfaces and improving the ecommerce user experience
  • Delivering the entire design life cycle for products
  • Mentoring and raising UX/UI awareness across the business
  • Implementing design best practice

Skills and Experience

  • Any ecommerce experience would be beneficial but not a must
  • Interface design, Wireframing and prototyping
  • Skills with Adobe, Figma or Sketch to design web pages
  • UI or coding skills such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Understanding of accessibility standard
